History

We celebrate our 20 years of excellence: the history of ISATI and the future that awaits us.

Twenty years ago, from the innovative vision of the Fairtlough brothers, ISATI was born.

A company created with the ambition of offering high-level technical support for the maintenance of military fleets, managed at the time by Agusta (currently Leonardo S.p.A.).

Our Mission

The collaboration with Agusta began in 2004, the year in which we were entrusted with an important project, key to the company’s growth.

This close collaboration, in fact, allowed us to expand our horizons, actively collaborating in the assembly and construction phases of their helicopters between 2006 and 2012 and, again, in 2015 and  2016.

In the decade following its foundation, we have witnessed exponential growth, reaching a team of 30 technicians directly engaged in flight line activities, and another 30 technicians and FSRs supporting the maintenance of Leonardo helicopters globally.

The evolution of ISATI

Over the years, we have maintained our commitment to supporting the maintenance of helicopters, both in Italy and abroad.

“Operating in international markets has in fact meant preparing our resources to deal with the multiple cultural, linguistic and legislative complexities. But in any case, we were able to bring added value to the customer by demonstrating competence and professionalism” – says Carlos (Director and co-owner of ISATI).

ISATI’s successes

It has therefore been an intense twenty years but also full of significant successes: this is confirmed by the twenty-year and continuous management in support of Leonardo’s Italian military customer, including participation in the maintenance of the NH90 fleets for the Government of Qatar, the most important project from the Covid period until 2030.

Now, with a focus on supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s fleets, we are preparing to serve the country that is the largest buyer of helicopters in the world, further consolidating our position in the sector.

In addition, we have achieved ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and sustainability.

For the future, we are committed not only to maintaining the valuable partnership with Leonardo, but also to expanding our team of professionals.

Looking back on twenty years of history, we are deeply grateful for the path shared with Leonardo Helicopters and for the technicians who have made it possible for such a cohesive and competent team to grow. It has always been an honour to work alongside such a prestigious and professional client, sharing goals and aspirations.

Thank you also to all our team who allowed us to get this far!
